Monday, 6:30-7:30

Self-Defense- Jerold Rivera

This course will introduce students to basic skills and elements to protect yourself using Katsugo Ryu Aki-Jujitsu.  Please dress comfortably.

Belly Dancing- Lynn Negron

Come and celebrate the joy of Middle eastern music. develop your self confidence and create your artistic self expression in a friendly atmosphere.Please dress comfortably.

Tuesday, 6:30-7:30

Yoga- Sonia Rodriguez

Yoga is a practice of physical postures (asanas) breathing,stretching and meditation  promoting  balance to the body and mind.  Please dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat.

Wednesday, 6:30-7:30

Mosaic Making- Helene Mattera

Beginners or experienced mosaicists are welcome. Students will make votives, ornaments, coasters, trays, mirrors, frames and flowerpots.  Supplies included but feel free to bring in objects to be tiled. 

 

Bomba Dance and Drumming- Dr. Drum

Basic Bomba dancing for beginners. Call & response of traditional and contemporary Bomba songs.  Basic music theory for the common Bomba rhythms played throughout the Afro-Puerto Rican Diaspora in the Americas.

Thursday, 6:30-7:30

African Dance and Drumming- Song and Beat

Song & Beat is a multi-cultural, interactive music and movement program. Explore cultures through rhythm, song, dance folklore and language.

Fees:

$10 each

$75 for “10 Class Pass”

$100 for “15 Class Pass”

Passes can be used for any combination of classes
